Look here y’all, December is packed full of holiday celebrations, traveling, sweet treats, and darkness at 5pm. Therefore, I am FULL of excuses. Instead of prioritizing my health, I’m in my pajamas by the fireplace watching Elf.


To be fair, it’s the end of the year and we all need a mental AND physical break. But with the increase in calories, decrease in vitamin D due to lack of sunlight, and multiple family gatherings, we need to keep our immune system strong.


We know movement and exercise are good for our bodies, but it’s hard to find self motivation!


Let me help you! Here’s a bang-for-your-buck easy, holiday workout that takes only 15 minutes:

(Perform these as a circuit: 3 rounds of 3 exercises)


Three “bang-for-your-buck” exercises:

  1. Squat to Overhead Press (glutes, biceps, shoulders)

    1. 10-20 reps (or until fatigue)

  2. Lunge with Banded Pull-Aparts (knees, upper back)

    1. 10-15 reps on each side (or until fatigue)

  3. Birdog with Band (Back and Abdominals)

    1. 10-15 reps on each side (or until fatigue)
