Why is it that some projects are so hard to get to and then once you actually tackle them, you discover that, A) it was not as bad as you imagined in your head, B) it takes less time (and often less money) than you thought it would, and C) you wish you would have done it sooner as the gratification is very real!

I have decided to take on several projects in my home (there are countless, let me assure you) that need attention and I will highlight some of them as I go along this year. I decided that shoes were an easy start.

There are so many shoe organizers to choose from but I liked these shoe boxes with the little clear doors so that I can see what is inside and the shoes stay a little more protected from dust (I seem to have a lot of that in my closet). Have a little patience when putting together the first couple of boxes and then when you get the hang of it, they assemble quickly. They stack easily and securely and they even break down flat again if you move in the future. I really like the way it turned out - so gratifing!
