Every year, there are a handful of colors that dominate in stores and on the runway. Of course, black, white, and neutrals will always be timeless—but it’s fun to experiment with new colors every once in a while.

No matter your skin tone, the best color for you is the one you feel best in. For many of us, straying from our "safe" clothes can be a bit scary. But with a brand new year approaching, we’re given a fresh start to try new things and really push ourselves out of our comfort zones fashionwise. Now’s the time to trade in your favorite black winter coat for a colorful one, or swap out your worn out black boots for a fun metallic pair. Fashion has no rules, and in the middle-stage, we can do what we like, so why not test the waters? Let's try a few of the hottest fashion color trends for 2025 (according to Style Caster, Vogue and a few other fashion authorities).

Seafoam Green

Sage green move over, seafoam green will be the most popular shade of green in 2025. Seafoam green is predicted to bring pastels back for good, and it’s proven to be incredibly wearable for the everyday. Paired with neutrals, seafoam green is the color to make you stand out in a crowd.

Ethereal Lavender

Lavender is the embodiment of all things soft and feminine and it will have its moment in the spotlight in 2025. Like seafoam green, pastel lavender is surprisingly versatile. If you are a fan of floral prints, lavendar will be right up your alley as they pair perfectly together. And even in the colder months, lavender will remain a force to be reckoned with.

Striking Silver

For 2025, silver is the it girl color. It was never out of style per se but it is having a huge moment. Whether its Joan of Arc inspired chain mail or stacking your silver jewelry, we’re going to see tons of silver clothing pieces and silver accessories. Even though it might seem like a daring choice, silver is a neutral and an all-time fashion favorite.

Butter Yellow

A creamy, shortbread-like shade is taking over runways and storefronts for 2025. Yellow isn't the most universally flattering color, but that hasn't stopped designers from fashioning everything from gowns to knitwear in the sunny hue. If you like the color, go for it, but if you can't quite embrace the shade for a statement piece, try picking an accent or accessory that will give you a hint of the color without being too bold.

Navy Blue

Although we’re all familiar with good ol’ navy blue, it’s reinventing itself to be one of the most fashionable colors for 2024 and 2025. Not only is it a stylish option for weddings and formal events, but blue denim will never fall off trend. A deep blue hue goes with everything (including seafoam green, lavendar and butter yellow) and looks great on every skin tone - you never go wrong with a classic navy blue.

Remember, trends are just that. They come and go, and some stick around longer than others. If it’s not your style, just skip it and if you still love it, wear it. At the end of the day, you should wear what you feel good in, no matter what the “trend reports” say!
